• Considering becoming a selling consultant?
• Read this report about how to make money with Scentsy

What is Scentsy:

Currently Scentsy is a business that stocks and supplies ‘specialty’
products that are scented for your home, office and even your car. They
are home to the ‘wickless’ candle (no soot, no flame and no lead) that is
kind of interesting actually. They have a wide variety of products that can
be used by both women and men. There product line is very appealing
and stylish. They have scented candles, candle warmers, scented bars
and many other neat products (too many to list here).

Countries:
USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Puerto Rico, Netherlands and Guam.

History:
They were first started on July 1st, 2004 by a husband and wife team
Orville and Heidi Thompson. Orville was an entrepreneur at heart from
the very beginning and through the learning of past failures and
determination; he ended up finally becoming successful along with his
wife Heidi with this company and idea. The headquarters are located in
Meridian ID, USA.

Type of Business:
They are a direct selling business that markets the bulk of their products
through independent consultants. Each independent consultant is
basically like a separate business entity that has been given permission
to sell products by the mother company (Scentsy).

How Does it Work?
This type of business is very similar to companies like Mary Kay and
Avon. You can work full or part time. You can sell products personally to
people and through an online website store. It costs $99 to get started.

You will get a Starter Kit for your money that includes:

• A new consultant start up guide
• Training DVD’s
• Training website access
• Access to live, recorded  training calls and webinars
• Brochures
• Order Forms
• Sample Products and Testers
• Bags
• Invitations
• Business Cards
• Binder
• Welcome Sheet

How Much Can You Make?
They pay based on product sales, recruitment of other team members
(downline) and residual commissions from people under you. You make
percentages anywhere from 20% to 25% per personal sales and even
more on royalties and team sales. It all comes down to how many
products that you can personally sell based on personal sales or how
many ‘active’ consultants that you can recruit into your downline.

Marketing and Promotion:
Scentsy is based on 2 methods that I briefly touched on above:

1- Personal Selling
2- Recruiting

Personal sales can be made by home parties, friends and family. You
can also become creative by advertising using business drop cards and
flyers.

Online sales can be made by sharing your link to your personal online
store with people.

In the end it will be up to you to really feel the Scentsy product line and
company out for yourself. If you are comfortable with making personal
sales, are a people person and love this kind of product line, then this
may be for you. This concludes my review of the Scentsy business
opportunity.
